Psychometric analysis of the SUSESO-Istas scale short version in personnel of a military institution
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present study reports findings on the psychometric properties of the SUSESO-Istas scale to assess psychosocial risks, in a sample of 183 workers who work in a military institution in the province of Callao, the ages are between 20 and 64 years (M = 35.58, SD = 13.65). Objective: The psychometric properties are analyzed through internal consistency and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) by the method of structural equations. Materials and methods. SUSESO-Istas 21 psychosocial risks questionnaire short version, adapted in Chile. Goodness-of-fit measures of the model were used and Cronbach's Alpha and Omega coefficients were used for reliability. Results. The validity of the internal structure showed adequate global goodness of fit indices according to the literature (X2 / gl = 2.046, p = 0.000), RMSEA = 0.076; However, in the incremental goodness of fit and model selection measures, the values were not optimal (CFI = 0.76, SRMR = 0.091, TLI = 0.71 and AIC = 0.76). Conclusion. The factor analysis of the SUSESOIstas psychosocial risk scale, short version, does not confirm the five-dimensional theoretical structure for a sample of workers from a Military Institution in Callao.
