Public policies for the agricultural sector in Perú
Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of this review article is to analyze public policies for the agricultural sector in Peru. In terms of methodology, the research design is documentary with a qualitative approach. The scope of the research is descriptive and its design is non-experimental and cross-sectional. Regarding the sample, a non-probabilistic sample of 70 articles was used. The databases used were Redalyc, Scopus, Ebsco and Alicia-Concytec. The criteria for the inclusion of articles were established by the keywords: agricultural policy, agriculture, agricultural development. The range of time for the selection of information was the last 4 years. The results showed that, although the agricultural sector has made efforts to improve productivity conditions and market growth, there is still a lack of attention to factors such as farmer training, technology transfer, preservation of the ecosystem and institutional development. Among the main conclusions, it was mentioned that, although Peru enjoys a privileged ecosystem, if public policies focused on the sector are not efficiently articulated, it could face serious risks in the future.
