Sustainability in ecuadorian exports, as part of the 4.0 revolution in the coffee sector

Abstract
The present work aims to analyze Ecuadorian coffee exports from a sustainability perspective in the agro-industrial sector for the period 2021-2023, and to show the impact of these exports on the economic, environmental and social spheres. A non-exploratory and descriptive design was used with a qualitative approach to data collection such as the interview, where issues of coffee exports and sustainability were addressed. The 4.0 revolution and sustainability not only influence the environment, but also contribute to the country's economy by showing how Ecuadorian coffee exports must move towards sustainable practices in their production to be efficient in their yields. Alternatively, their participation in international fairs allows them to know, get involved and develop certifications that position them in the international market. Finally, it is concluded that today's technologies are crucial for competitiveness in the international market.
