Teaching and education digital competence in Peru

Abstract
Digital competence is a concept that has been positioning itself within the educational field in recent times. The Covid-19 pandemic and the medical internment brought it to the fore and made the pedagogical work reinvent itself and as a consequence of that, we will talk from now on about a remote, virtual or distance education. The objective of this article is to propose an understanding of the concept of digital competence, highlight its impact on educational work and the convenient incorporation into the educational system of several nations, for its use in times when education has undergone a substantive transformation. For the materialization of this work, Web of Science, Scopus and ERIC were used as databases. Four keywords were
considered in ERIC Thesaurus: digital competence, digital skill, higher education, and teacher training. The procedure was carried out by means of the combined search in pairs. This review article has allowed us to analyze the technological approach, its impact on education and the lack of foresight of educational policies in several countries. Aspect that originated an anomalous assimilation of digital competence by teachers during the first months of the pandemic
